I drove my TL1000S in February before, in Denver, maybe even in January. Not really that strange around here - we get some amazing weather in February - we should hit low 70's this week!

Which would be perfectly acceptable and normal if you lived in Texas. You wouldn’t even need to wear a parka over your riding jacket.

canada dude. more or less all sportbikes are blacklisted here (they will still insure you...just expect to pay an arm and a leg, and we are ALREADY over charged for insurance like you could not beleive)

Good idea. Also keep an eye out for racing plastic sales going on. Hot Bodies and Sportbike Track Gear had a sale where you could buy 2 sets for the price of one.
